Dizzee Rascal was born Dylan Kwabena Mills in London in 1985 and has become one of the UK’s most successful rappers, songwriters and record producers.
Dizzee’s music is a blend of hip hop, garage, raga, pop, grime and electronic music. He has achieved number-one hits with "Bonkers", "Dance wiv Me", "Dirtee Disco", "Holiday", & "Shout", and his debut album, Boy in da Corner, won him the Mercury Prize in 2003. His follow-up albums Showtime, Maths + English and Tongue n' Cheek have all been critically acclaimed with the latter achieving platinum for sales of over 300,000 units.
